Fairy Tale the Grumpy Mouse Deer

Stail deer named Rungsing. He lives with his herd in the wilderness. Among the herd of deer, he is one of the shy and innocent deer.

One day while looking for food in the form of fruit, he got lost. Until leaving his herd who live in the wilderness.

Fortunately, he met a herd of deer outside the wilderness. And they are willing to accept this Si Rungsing to live temporarily with the herd. Now, he has a new environment.

This herd of deer lives a little different from the deer who live in the wilderness. They are better at adapting to nature.

They can make nests and grow fruits that become their daily food.

Until when the lean season arrives, they are never short of food.

The Mouse Deer Learned Education.

Seeing this situation, Si Rungsing became interested and intended to stay longer in this place to learn the existing knowledge.

He expressed his wish to the tribal chief. It turned out that Rungsing's wish was well received by him.

He even gave a special teacher to teach the Rungsing. The teacher's name is Tayo.

It turned out that Rungsing was not smart enough to accept the education given by his teacher. But the teacher was very patient and continued to guide him.

It's a shame, this Rungsing, slow to realize his shortcomings. He did not realize that he was not quick to understand the knowledge being taught. Until he felt he was not wrong.

Si Tayo tries to wake him up by giving advice. And asked the Rungsing to study harder and memorize, study and do a lot of practice every day.

The Escape of the Deer.

Maybe because of the simple mindset of the Rungsing because he was hanging out with the simple-minded Deer in the wilderness there, all of Tayo's advice was only a little he obeyed.

Rarely did he repeat his lessons when he returned to his nest. In fact, often play and chat with neighbors. To make him forget the science of education that has been taught by the teacher.

This made the Tayo annoyed. Until one day at the peak of his annoyance he cursed Si Rungsing loudly. Asking Si Rungsing to study better.

Si Rungsing instead of being aware and wanting to improve himself, he was angry. He fled from that place and returned to the wilderness. Of course, the herd left behind were surprised to see the behavior of Si Rungsing.

However, they forgive and forget the self-ignorance of Si Rungsing. Having been given education, they just run away without saying goodbye.

Deer's Home.

Now Si Rungsing has returned to his flock in the wilderness. He reported the curse he had received to the tribal chief and asked to attack the deer herd outside.

The chief just smiled and said, "Before we attack a herd of deer who curse you. I order you to stay for a week in another herd of deer. My friend becomes the chief of the tribe there."

"Why?" asked Si Rungsing feeling strange and curious. According to him the best way out of this problem is to attack what he considers his enemy. He didn't want his self-esteem to be trampled on.

"You'll find out later," replied the chief.

Si Rungsing could not argue.

The Mouse Deer Learn Again.

Only one day Rungsing stayed, he was already surprised. He saw the young residents in every chat like cursing each other. However, there was not a single fight.

"This if it happened at my place. Every day there must be a fight," thought Si Rungsing.

And for a few days he saw the same thing. Until he got used to hearing the curses that came out of the people's mouths.

After a week passed, he returned to the wilderness and reunited with the chief.

The Conscious Deer.

"How. Are you still suggesting us to attack the deer group that you consider the enemy," asked the chief.

"No," answered Rungsing firmly.

"Good. Now you have realized. That in this life, we must be mature in dealing with every problem. And as much as possible avoid violent steps that can cause many casualties."

After the incident, the Rungsing returned to where he studied first and apologized for his behavior.

Now he is studying more diligently and diligently. He aspires to devote his knowledge to where he lives in the wilderness there.
