Forgot to Shake Medicine, a Funny Story

One time Si Kabayan was sick. He suffered from a cold and cough. Quite old all day, Si Kabayan just curled up in his room.

The night before, Si Kabayan getting rained after returning from  the house of the village leader. Nyi Iteung, his wife, was worried about Kabayan's condition. Nyi Iteung then took Kabayan to the nearest clinic.

Short story, Kabayan was escorted by Nyi Iteung to clinic. Mr. doctor kindly then looked at Kabayan. He said that Kabayan only had a cold and a common cough. 

"Mister Kabayan is just a regular cold. Here I give 2 kinds of medicine. As long as you eat enough, take medicine according to the prescription and rest, mister Kabayan will recover soon," said Mr. Doctor. 

Returning from the clinic, Kabayan felt confident that his illness would soon be cured. Mr. Doctor, give him 2 kinds of medicine to take, namely cold medicine and cough medicine.

When they got home, Nyi Iteung prepared food and medicine for Kabayan to drink. Kabayan immediately ate and took his medicine and then went to bed to rest.

The afternoon when Kabayan woke up. He realized it was time to take medicine. But Nyi Iteung is not visible. 

“Where is Nyi Iteung? It's time to take medicine. Maybe Nyi Iteung is going to father-in-law's house," thought Kabayan. 

After eating the food at the dining table, Kabayan took the medicine he got from the clinic.

Not old enough then Nyi Iteung came. She was surprised to see Kabayan jumping around in the house. “Kabayan you are still sick, why are you jumping around? Kabayan, are you healed? Doing sport?” asked Nyi Iteung.

"It's not sport, darling," said Kabayan while panting. "Earlier, I finished taking medicine but forgot to read the pen scratches on the cough medicine bottle. There it is written, shake first before drinking. That's why I am now jumping around to let the medicine be shaken." said Kabayan again.

Apparently, Kabayan jumped up and down so that the medicine whipped in his stomach.

"Oh my God ... You don't have to jump like that ..." Nyi Iteung shouted.
